For years, our partnership with Town Pump has fueled our mission and created a network of inspired donors.
While spare change often goes unnoticed, Town Pump of Montana is making a significant impact on Missoula by turning forgotten coins into meaningful contributions. When you opt to round up at the register, your donation of a few cents is given back to the Poverello Center kitchen, as well as Hope Rescue Mission and the Missoula Food Bank. Although these donations may not seem like much, they always add up! In October and November of 2023, customers at Town Pump gas stations and casinos raised $56,000 for these three organizations – a record for any community during this campaign!
Bill McGladdery, the Director of Corporate Communications for Town Pump, says he is proud the company can support Poverello Center efforts to ease and erase homelessness in Missoula: “the work that every person at the Pov does, from the HOT Team to the directors, is outstanding.”
This goes to show that no donation is too small, and every penny counts when it comes to ending homelessness in Missoula. Whether you are rounding up at the gas pump, volunteering, or donating directly, every bit that you contribute makes our community stronger.
In addition to these donations, the Town Pump foundation regularly works with our veterans’ programs, and is currently working on an emergency grant to support our shelter services at the Poverello Center and Johnson Street Shelter. We are so grateful for this partnership, and hope it continues for years to come!
