Dear Supporters,

John Engen was a dear friend of not only the Poverello Center, but also the entire community of Missoula.  We are so sad to hear of his passing today.  This is a huge loss for all of us and we will miss him. 

John is a big reason Missoula is the wonderful community it is, and he believed strongly that all Missoulians deserve a safe place to call home. He fought for our most vulnerable community members who struggle with homelessness and poverty. 

John joined the Board of Directors of the Poverello Center last year and we were honored to have his humor, his knowledge, and his connections on our Board. 

Rest in Peace John, you’ve done great work, you deserve to rest.
